I was wondering if the final release might have some rare items that could be found mining, or maybe even digging... after awhile it gets sooo monotonous mining, but it's a lucrative task. If there was the hope of some super rare thing popping up, it would be really exciting! Like... a purple diamond worth 1000! Or something fantastic like that Or it could be like, a charm that you rarely find... that gives you an energy bonus when you wear it... I am sure I'm asking too much... it's just something that sounded really fun!

Sounds great! Having some goals like that, would make it even more fun to play.

I once dug up a pot plant? It was pretty cool.

I like this idea too! It'd be a nice surprise. :3

This is a great idea! Rare items popping up would be a great incentive to keep mining and digging even when it gets monotonous. I'll see what I can do

Or some rare mineral you could dig up, maybe give to Benjamin and have him make something decorative?

That would be nice. Like a series of small collectibles, where when you get the first one, you get an option for a desk to hold them? Or a case, filled with these fancy rocks of different sorts, and you can show them off- and they have different qualities? Different qualities can only be found in different areas of the mine? That's encouragement to use all floors of the mine, I guess. Maybe you could get a mark for completing the collection, and some townsfolk could comment or something. I dunno, I can see my farmer collecting pretty rocks, heehee.

And we could get new items and/or collectables from time to time via Steam Updates! Would be awesome!
