Hello, I'm Expectorate. I also sometimes answer to Spitball. I'm Australian, so the little villagers in the game complaining about the heat kinda make me laugh. What's the bet they get actual snow in winter? There's no way their summer is that hot. I've been playing HM games since the snes as a kid, and recently I gave the one for ps2 a go on emulator, wondering if I would go and track down a copy at gametraders for my actual ps2...and I just got fed up with it. Didn't even finish a season. So many harvest moon games, and it's the same thing over and over - they've never really improved their character development - just the same villagers over and over with occasional additions and reboots...and Popuri...why can't they just kill her off, I swear she's an extra horseperson of the apocalypse or something. So yeah, wanted to play harvest moon...but was sick of the little buggers too. Went looking for similar games, found this.

Hi! I'm brazillian and live by the coast. We get 20ÂșC in the deepest of winters around here Have you played the Gamecube version of HM - Its a Wonderful Life? They give a better focus on the story and you character get actually old (gray hair and everything), and has a kid. And, also, no Popuri!

Welcome to you! About the heat, I suppose it's all about perspective... the poor Sugar Blossom villagers are used to much cooler temperatures than you! A little bit of summer heat is too much, I guess.
I definitely know what you mean about Harvest Moon... I love that series to death, but there are certain things that haven't changed since the very beginning, and it's beginning to get a bit stale. I'm hoping this month's Story of Seasons can live up to some of those earlier titles in terms of original ideas. And I'm glad World's Dawn can help (at least a little bit) in the meantime!
